Travel Photo Souvenirs
So many times I see cool souvenirs when I travel and I just want to get them to remind me of the trip– magnets, mugs, wall hangings, small art pieces. But since I live in a tiny house (only 756 sq ft) and I travel a LOT, its just not practical to bring home more “stuff” from each trip! So I just have been making my own Souvenirs! My recent trip to Bimini yielded this classic Lighthouse shot and so I painted it and made greeting cards with it.
A few years ago we went to Bimini on a boat trip and I captured this wonderful series. I made a 9-up grid with it, and I have a 12×12 metal print composite of this in my kitchen! [My friends who own the boat and condo and home in the Keys have three trio grids in their homes from this collection of Nine 12×12 metals.] Simply Stunning!
This week I made this same 9-up grid into some nice 5×5 square greeting cards, too! I’m dreaming of some other clever things… jewelry, (of course), tiles, and little memories of special times. My next big one will be a 50″ painting of the Italian Landscape for my living room! How wonderful to have that memory, but even more so, for it to be your own painting! (I will certainly share it when it is done!)
I will be sharing my artistic journeys as I create more and tell stories of my adventures and projects! I believe in celebrating life and treasuring your memories with photos and art. #surroundyourselfwithbeauty #rememberthegood #cherishmemories #createyourownart #becreativealways #SEEinspired #createwithsuzette @bayphotolab #metalprints #pressprintedcards @lumix #lumixglobalambassador
