Collections: communicating with Art
When it comes to choosing your art for display, sometimes we need to consider a collection perspective. I have recently been painting flowers, which is something I love to do. It is always therapeutic and colorful! I originally wanted to hang, share and display some of them, but these single flowers don’t really have the impact to hang large on a wall. So, I ended up creating a planner/calendar from them. It was easy to find 14 photos that went together!

But once all the images were all in a folder, the visual became far more exciting as a COLLECTION! Now, they suddenly have a different strength when combined. I chose 6 that were top-view, and 6 that were photographed from the side for consistency and congruency within each collection. Now I can see them hanging down a hall or in a stairwell…so many ideas in my mind’s eye!

As a Collection, these make a bright and colorful, happy statement! It can be seasons, colors, mood, with or without words… the possibilities are endless.

Collect your thought, your images and your art for a fresh way to display your art! I’d love to see these as #ThinWraps or #Acrylic prints!
